LEFTER is an independent house of wearable art, where craftsmanship, symbolism and personal identity meet.
Founded by artist and designer Anca Irina Lefter, LEFTER creates collectible handbags and sculptural jewellery at the intersection of fashion, art, music and symbolism.
Within each creation lives a story.
Original vinyl records are transformed into sculptural leather bags, giving music and memory a new life.
Raw, unpolished natural stones become one-of-a-kind jewellery — pieces shaped around symbolism, individuality and personal sovereignty.
Some creations are produced in limited editions. Others exist only in ONE piece.
THE FOUNDER
Anca Irina Lefter is a visual artist and designer based in the South of France.
Her practice moves between art, fashion and conceptual design exploring the relationship between humanity, identity and ego.
She says: “It’s all about creations that resonate with who you are, reflect something of your character ,your attitude and bring beauty and meaning to the moments that matter the most to you. I create pieces that become part of the moments you choose to remember. “
To live with beauty, meaning and a touch of art.
Her work has been presented internationally through exhibitions, cultural projects and artistic collaborations, including projects connected to Eurovision and KANAL–Centre Pompidou Brussels.
This artistic background remains at the heart of LEFTER: each creation is approached not simply as an accessory, but as an object with its own narrative, character and emotional presence.
THE CREATIONS
LEFTER develops two complementary worlds:
COLLECTIBLE LEATHER BAGS
Limited-edition and one-of-a-kind leather creations incorporating original vinyl records and other distinctive materials.
Music becomes material. Memory becomes form.
SCULPTURAL JEWELLERY
One-of-a-kind, individually handcrafted pieces created with raw, unpolished natural stones, brass, bronze, selected metal alloys and, for particular creations, sterling silver.
Each stone is individually selected, and its natural form becomes part of the identity and story of the piece.
ARTIST COLLABORATIONS
Collaboration with other artists is an essential part of the LEFTER universe.
Through selected collaborations with visual artists and creators from different disciplines, LEFTER becomes a space for artistic dialogue. Each collaboration brings together distinct creative languages, allowing painting, music, symbolism and contemporary art to find a new expression through objects that can be worn and lived with.
In selected LEFTER × ARTISTS creations, artists are invited to reinterpret materials and surfaces — including original vinyl records — which are then integrated into unique or limited-edition pieces.
The intention is not simply to place an artwork onto an accessory, but to create a new work born from the encounter of two artistic visions.
Each collaboration carries the identity of the invited artist while entering into dialogue with the LEFTER universe.
Art is no longer only something to contemplate. It becomes something to carry, to wear, and to bring into your own story.
OUR APPROACH
LEFTER creations are developed at human scale, with particular attention to material, proportion detail and individuality.
The handmade process is not about industrial uniformity. Subtle variations, traces of craftsmanship and the natural characteristics of materials form part of the individuality of each creation.
For special projects and commissions, personal narratives, cultural references and individual aesthetic codes can become part of the creative dialogue.
The result is not simply an object chosen to complete a look.

Every order is individually prepared and assembled by our artisans, allowing us to preserve the human touch behind each piece.
